Clinical Reflexology

Reflexology is a holistic treatment encompassing physical, emotional and mental well-being.

Reflexology is an ancient method of activating the body’s healing powers by working on pressure points, meridians and energy zones on the feet.

In general terms the benefits of reflexology have to do with the reduction of stress. Because the feet and hands help set the tension level for the rest of the body they are an easy way to interrupt the stress signal and reset homeostasis, the body’s equilibrium.

What can Reflexology Treat?

  • IBS
  • Back Pain
  • Hormonal Imbalances
  • Menstruation Problems
  • Symptoms of Menopause

Who Benefits from Reflexology?

As a treatment, reflexology is suitable for all ages and can bring relief from a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.  Following the completion of a course of reflexology treatments (usually 6) for a specific condition, many people often continue with regular treatments in order to maintain their new found health and well-being.

Many people also use reflexology simply as a way of relaxing the mind and body and for counteracting stress.

Reflexology Helps to …

• Aid relaxation

• Reduce pain

• Rejuvenate tired feet

• Improve circulation

• Support immunity

• Eliminate toxins

It is very beneficial especially when treating specific conditions to have a course of treatments around 6-10. This varies on the individuals needs but really allows the time needed to address any existing conditions. . I recently completed a training in Finger Free Reflexology in Perth. It has all the benefits of regular Reflexology but the techniques allow for a deeper treatment which can access the Reflexes better. Also many clients actually find Finger Free more relaxing.
